I know some suggestions and concepts to manage their own opinions, tweets, and more texts like blog entries as "commits" in Git to record things with an accurate date and time (when you commit them at each time to be recorded) and to keep all histories even if some records are not true (not all things are explicitly proven or confirmed as true records by ourselves, some records could be false by our unconscious self deception.) You can find examples of this kind of management style at GitHub where someone maintains her/his document and its history of modification. It should be possible to use this way to manage records even at any website running with Git or other revision system and you would be able to execute a "git commit" command when you modify things at any rate.
