LSWEEKLY LiteStep Related News 18.03.00 - 24.03.00 ---------------------------------------------------- Well things have been a bit slow going this week. No big hassles or fights, kinda nice. One thing I would like to bring up though creation of web sites with multiple people involved. Usually, the reason all these people are working on the same project is for very basic reasons such as enjoyment and love of the project. They are not getting paid to do this. Many of them have jobs and do the work in there spare time. With this said, I can understand wanting to have organization within the site and it's people but trying to run the site as if its a company will lead to nothing but a failed site. Why? Because it is NOT a company but a group of people working towards a common goal for fun and enjoyment. If you are either running a site or considering running one with some people keep in mind that the people you are working with do this for nothing. Telling them what to do, imposing strict rules and regulations, and other company like actions will do nothing but destroy the project. I have seen it happen alot. Take my words lightly if you want but I promise you, what ever site you are working on will not be around long if you run it like that. - demigod --------------------------- TOP NEWS STORIES --------------------------- - New Dev Team Member dissipate (12:49pm 20.03) Saw this little tid bit on fpn.
