We know all builds of LiteStep have been distributed under GPL and it means that we also redistribute them under GPL. Some people have made such private builds and distribute at their website, ex. Murphy, Maduin, Fahim, and now we know FPN (lsdev@FPN).
I will introduce more build from Japan, by Nyagos. He makes localized LSXCommand as well, and sometimes he posts such modified modules and builds at his website. Now we can take his 12/15 build, though you should read its change.txt in another source <g>.
BTW, FUJI research institute corporation reports a statistics (PDF report in Japanese) compiled from a question: “what do you think of the greatest MADE-IN-JAPAN?” (it doesn\’t mean the originality). The result is as follows.
- 1 - Instant noodles,
- 2 - Karaoke,
- 3 - Headphone stereo (it will mean Walkman),
- 4 - Consumer game system,
- 5 - CD player,
- 6 - Camera,
- 7 - Akira Kurosawa (movie director),
- 8 - Pokemon,
- 9 - Some tech for car product,
- 10 - Sushi.
